What Sigonyth will be?
The game we are creating will be a MMORPG – massively multiplayer online role-playing game with character creation based on a set of stats, traits and skills. The players will assume roles as descendants of the space ship survivors and be able to choose between one of the three races: humans, cyborgs or Vovians (mutants). There will be no ultimate goal forced by the story – everyone will be able to decide by himself what does he want to do and accomplish in his virtual life.

How does the world of Sigonyth look like?
The world of Sigonyth is a hot, desertic planet, on which 200 years ago a human colony ship landed. Thousands of colonists were forced to settle in this hostile and dangerous world. The action takes place about half a century after the landing. There will be many locations to visit - big cities(Sigonyth, Rash’Khan), small desert enclaves, cold Vovian tunnels, canyons and caves inhabited by wild animals, and, of course, the vast terrains of neverending desert. The game world is created from scratch and contains many fresh ideas that haven't been used in MMORPG games so far - Story of colonisation.

How do you play Sigonyth?
We're creating a crossover of sci-fi and fantasy world and focus on possibility of multi-directional development given to players. After all, it is the player who decides what does he want to achieve, and we, on the other hand, want to give him a wide array of opportunities: from traveling across the desert and fighting its inhabitants, through farming, working in a mine or owning a restaurant, to going on missions from the government or merchant organizations. Exact abilities will be defined by individual statistics, making each and every character unique.

Will Sigonyth have a plot?
As a MMORPG, Sigonyth will not have a main linear plot that would determine players' actions. Contrary to other games (e.g. Ultima Online), it will have many collateral storylines and spin-offs. Basic tasks will be given by NPCs while more sophisticated ones (meant for advanced players) and typical RPG quests will involve working for certain person or organization. Most of these stories will consist of various non-linear quests. Obtaining these tasks will require a fair level of skills, abilities or karma.

What are the differences between races in Sigonyth?
There are three races available: humans, cyborgs and Vovians. Every one of them has its own region in which members of certain race will start the game – Every race will have its own cities, villages and special locations. The gameplay and available storylines will be different for each race. Choosing your race will greatly influence character's further development: every race will have a specific "cost" of obtaining certain abilities, special traits, or so called Basic Elements – cybernetic parts for cyborgs, mutations for Vovians and perks for humans.

How will the game work? In what ways will the players be able to develop their characters?
We are creating our own proprietary game system code-named "Krov". Each character is defined by 8 stats defining innate physical and mental capabilities; a set of skills (there will be more than 70!), chosen and upgraded by player, and a set of feats. Skills will be enhanced by using them, i.e. if you work in a mine your "Mining" skill will go up. New skills, feats, traits and hit points will be acquired/chosen while advancing to higher levels.

In what ways the players will be able to interact with the environment?
The players will be able to create organizations, buy houses, clubs, shops, create H.Q. for their "Teams", hire NPCs – as guards, or shopkeepers, or as Specialists. Crafting and modifying items from sewing needles to plasma weapons will be possible; It's all up to player's whim and abilities of his character.
